All National Science Foundation (NSF) grants come with the requirement that the researcher writes a Project Outcomes Report that specifies “the outcomes of the award . . . for the general public in clear, comprehensible language.” Yet a significant number of NSF researchers, despite accepting NSF funding, have not fulfilled this obligation. This website shows which individuals at which institutions are delinquent as a way of encouraging more NSF grantees to submit their required Public Outcomes Reports.

Overall the number who complied with the NSF requirement:

• in 2011 was 11%
• in 2012 was 3%
• in 2013 was 23%
